About the job
As a Co-founder CEO, your role will involve co-building the startup with the OSS Ventures team and your co-founder CTO, based in our Paris office. Your mission includes:
- Understanding the pain points of industrial clients and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Leading the company’s overall activities to achieve strategic and financial objectives.
- Aiming to reach €500k ARR within the first 6 months.
- Leading the fundraising efforts for an 18-month runway, with guidance, connections, and feedback provided by OSS.
- Creating the company culture, structure, and vision.
- Recruiting, training, and managing a talented team to support the company’s growth.
- Identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with investors, partners, and clients.
- Ensuring transparent and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Architect and develop the technical backbone of the product, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and ready to meet market demands. You’ll be hands-on in coding, setting the technical direction, and making key decisions that drive the product forward.
About you
Required skills:
- Leadership and Executive Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role such as CEO, VP Sales, Country Manager, or similar, within the tech sector or as a founder of a startup. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business growth.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: At least 3 years of recent experience in sales and revenue management, particularly within B2B SaaS environments. Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive sales targets and scaling revenue streams.
- Fundraising and Investor Relations: Experience in successfully raising capital from VCs or angel investors, ideally having led at least one fundraising round from start to finish. Strong network within the venture capital ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Market Insight and Strategy: 4+ years of experience with market analysis and strategy development, particularly in the startup or technology sectors. Ability to identify and seize market opportunities, and align business strategies with customer needs and industry trends.
- Team Management and Talent Development: Minimum of 3 years managing teams, including recruitment, training, and developing talent in high-performance environments. Experience in building a strong company culture and leading teams through rapid growth phases.
- Technical Understanding: While deep technical expertise is not required, a solid understanding of SaaS product development and technical structures is important. Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to the technical needs of an early-stage product.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in French is highly preferred, as the role requires frequent interaction with local partners and clients.
- Startup Mindset: Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where quick decision-making, adaptability, and resilience are crucial. A strong entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for creating impact in the manufacturing sector.
Working Conditions
Regular presence in our Paris office (République) is required for the first 9 months of the startup's launch. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of experts in a dynamic and supportive environment.
