Responsibilities

We are looking for a Venture Research Intern to support our venture-building process through research and partnerships. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with our Venture Architects (VAs), gaining hands-on experience in how ventures are built from the ground up. The internship scope is twofold:

1. Research & Opportunity Definition

  • Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, industries, and market gaps to identify potential venture opportunities.
  • Assist in defining and refining Opportunity Areas (OAs) by analyzing market shifts and technological advancements across various industries.
  • Synthesize findings into clear and actionable investment theses to guide venture ideation and validation.
  • Support the development of strategic insights that inform the selection and prioritization of new venture concepts.

2. Partnerships & External Engagement

  • Work alongside Venture Architects to develop collaboration strategies with VCs, startup studios, and ecosystem players.
  • Assist in identifying potential partners, preparing outreach materials, and supporting relationship management efforts.
  • Observe and take structured notes during discussions and meetings with external stakeholders, gaining exposure to high-level strategic conversations and partnership dynamics.
  • Support event planning, workshops, or initiatives that foster engagement with relevant industry players.

Attributes We are looking for Venture Architect Interns with the following:

  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys solving complex problems.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for research and market analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill insights into compelling narratives.
  • Interest in venture building, startups, or emerging technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—whether you have a startup idea or are simply curious about building ventures, we have a great program planned to help you explore and grow.
  • Background in business, economics, finance, or a related field preferred, but open to diverse candidates with relevant skills.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in venture building, collaborate with industry experts, and develop a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem. If you’re excited about working at the intersection of research, strategy, and partnerships, we’d love to hear from you!
