POSITION SUMMARY
Are you a proactive communicator and marketer who loves storytelling, building brand awareness, and creating social buzz? HomeEquity Bank is looking for a Senior Marketing Associate, PR & Social to join our award-winning Marketing team. This role will support campaigns that elevate HEB’s brand profile and visibility, increase awareness of the reverse mortgage category, and drive thought leadership initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, can think creatively, distill complex ideas into simple, poignant angles, and has expertise in PR, social media, and content creation.
MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE
Marketing Strategy & Program Management
Support the planning, development, and execution of PR campaigns to raise brand awareness, promote HEB’s products, and position HEB as a thought leader in the industry. Create social media posts across HEB’s social channels that increase brand awareness and visibility and grow audience following and engagement.
Write, proofread, and edit content for press releases, social media, media materials, talking points, customer and prospect emails, and other communications to ensure poignant and consistent messaging.
Monitor media coverage, social conversations, and campaign performance to track impressions, share of voice, and evaluate overall effectiveness of PR and social initiatives.
Support media relations by coordinating interviews, pitching stories, and creating briefs and messaging documents to guide media opportunities.
Assist in the development of social content calendars and campaign posts to maximize engagement and audience growth and report on insights to optimize effectiveness.
Support thought leadership and executive visibility campaigns as well as HR Brand initiatives by helping to identify opportunities, draft materials, and coordinate execution.
Develops work back schedules, leadership updates, maintains editorial calendars, develops timely and relevant posts and providing approvals in collaboration with the social media agency
Maintain Ambassador calendars to ensure HEB’s partners to steward relationships and ensure engagement across initiatives.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging social platforms and nest practices, as well as competitor activity to inform PR campaign and social strategies.
Support for ad hoc PR and Brand team initiatives.
Reporting, Analysis & Budget Support
Ensures frequent monitoring, tracking and insightful reporting of all marketing campaigns
Tracks key business metrics and contribute to forecasting and reporting on campaign results
Ensures processing of invoices and vendor follow up as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Marketing, PR, Communications, or social media, preferably within the financial services or consumer marketing space.
University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience.
Progressive experience in content development, copy writing, basic design and project management
Experience with social media management, reporting and development of campaigns in CRM platforms
Experience with basic data analytics and reporting
Fully proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Suite, Canva

Excellent verbal and written communications skills with proven ability to distill complex ideas into short, clear, and easily understandable messages.

Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally, up to senior management level
Excellent time management skills, and effectively manages and prioritizes workload under tight deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and media metrics.
