The Opportunity:

Founders Factory is developing Singapore into one of its key global hubs, alongside existing hubs in London, New York, Perth, Milan and Berlin. With the support of Enterprise Singapore, we are building a team on the ground to support our portfolio companies, manage our corporate partners and drive future growth opportunities.

In January, Founders Factory & HSBC announced the launch of the Industrial Innovator Programme. This invite only programme is bringing together select leading voices from industrial organisations across South East Asia, as well as leading global startup founders tackling shared problem spaces.

The programme is designed to be high impact, and over 12 weeks:

• Forge connections between leading corporates tackling similar challenges
• Identify global founders on the leading edge solving for these challenges
• Move quickly from identifying opportunities, to pilot and success stories.

This programme, provided exclusively for select HSBC clients, is led by Founders Factory, one of the world’s top startup hubs that has built, backed and scaled over 450 technology startups with its corporate partners globally.

The first iteration of the programme will culminate at Ecosperity in May where we will run a series of events to facilitate relationships and connectivity between the startups, HSBC and corporate participants.

Responsibilities:

• Be the point person for FF & HSBC’s Industrial Innovation Programme, covering senior stakeholders across commercial banking, innovation banking and the private bank
• Support the Future Industries Partnership portfolio companies with commercial opportunities in the region, primarily with corporate business development and funding connections
• Manage HSBC clients that have been activated for the programme, sourcing problem statements, identifying pilot opportunities, driving commercial outcomes and building deep stakeholder relationships
• Support the selected startups with: customer discovery, value proposition formulation, business case proposals, deployment and scale up plans
• Identify, facilitate and close commercial deals between clients, startups and HSBC’s financing teams (venture debt, FOAK, project finance, equity)
• Additional responsibilities will cover partner development in the South East Asia region for FF
• Connecting with other FF partners in the region, including Enterprise Singapore, Rio Tinto and others that are to be announced later in Q1 2026
• Supporting FF portfolio companies looking to set up and commercialise in Singapore

Key Requirements:

• Previous operational and commercial experience
• Genuine experience securing commercial contracts, from first pilot to scale
• Previous experience in the Deeptech, Climate or Industrial sectors
• Product experience taking an early stage business from concept to commercial launch
• 5 - 7 years of experience in a leadership capacity within a high growth startup
• Previous experience hiring and retaining a world class team
