We’re looking for an experienced operator with entrepreneurial ambitions to lead a new venture as Founder & CEO with our investment and the full backing of Founders Factory.
The Opportunity
Why is insurance the way it is? What if you could re-imagine how insurance works? How it is purchased, priced, packaged and provided. With Artificial General Intelligence shifting from theoretical to probable, we believe it's the right time for insurance to start again.
By being AI-first we believe insurance can be more personalised, affordable and delightful for customers. We’re looking to build a startup that leverages AI to redesign insurance, developing the technology components required to rapidly launch new insurance products, deploy new insurance lines and enter new markets as a configuration setting and potentially becoming the platform on which a new generation of MGAs are built.

What we’re looking for
- Experienced founder or builder capable of operating from zero to one
- Unique market insight, top 1% skills or other advantage that makes you a suitable and compelling founder
- Proven ability to build a world-class team, attract customers and investors
- Evidence of thriving in ambiguous environments and a high aptitude for calculated risks
- A clear vision for the opportunity (including product direction) - with the drive and expertise to execute on it
- Big ambition and conviction to completely reimagine how insurance works
- Actively immersed in the latest AI developments and what is possible and will become possible with AI
- Insurtech background - you know what it takes to build an insurance startup in heavily regulated markets dominated by large incumbents
- Deep empathy and motivation to solve customer problems
- High IQ and EQ - strong opinions loosely held
